There's a few things that I noticed about this: "Marycrafts Women's Work Office Business Pencil Skirt."I ordered two of the: "Marycrafts Women's Work Office Business Pencil Skirt." One Medium and 1 Large; as I wasn't sure which would actually fit/look better. I don't like my clothes to be clingy, but instead.. modest & respectable. {It seems that so much of women's clothing today is designed to exhibit, many things that should remain private. In fact it seems that the clothing industry has tried to fool many women into thinking that as a woman, we "need" to be on display... that our "value, our worth" are based only on if we are "displaying" ourselves in the MOST sexual way possible.. I can't speak for anyone else, but I feel that "my worth, my value" stem from my beliefs, my standards... showing that I have dignity and self-respect... that I don't feel the "need" to be "on display". Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that I should wear baggy/oversized clothing either... just somewhere in between... but that's just me.}}{The suggested size for me was a medium...although 5'3" 144lbs... the medium was definitely a tighter fit.}So I wanted to skip the possible (beforehand) back and forth exchange, as I needed another new skirt last minute. So as I said, I ordered a Medium and a Large. The "Large" was the most respectably fitting, of the two... so I went with that. I'll be sending the medium back, as it was much too clingy for me. It put me too much "on display," in a negative, undignified way... which as I said I personally don't care for, myself. As a result, I felt very comfortable... didn't have that feeling of: "I can't wait to get this tight thing off" feeling. And I didn't feel that I had to keep pulling it up, (a.k.a. it wasn't too big/loose either)... it was a nice and respectable fit, that I did receive many compliments on.I did knock one star off, because of the fact that the title/description of the skirt used words like: "office & business"... which led me to believe that the fabric would have a slightly "richer" feel to it...which it didn't exactly have. But it also didn't feel like SUPER cheap fabric either; it's just that it's definitely NOT a fabric that I'd associate with the words: "office or business", etc, either. It is a "thicker jersey/knit fabric." I imagine with as often as I wear skirts... (3-4 days out of 7), I probably shouldn't wear/wash it too often, as the fabric might eventually begin to pil/wear out.And between the "charcoal" color that I picked and that the fabric is thicker, I wouldn't say that this fabric would be easy to "see through," by any means; but for a slightly more sophistication (a feeling of elegance), I would suggest wearing a nice slip under it.It's an ok skirt, (for me/my needs) REALLY wish that it was a nicer "silkier" fabric... but unfortunately it isn't. All in all, I would have to say that this skirt is more of a casual work skirt...and nothing more/less than that. Enjoy!I love the black skirt, so I ordered the gray as well. The gray doesn’t have a zipper in the back.Because it fix great.I purchased the pant suit sets over a year ago, and loved them. I’m a menswear tailor by profession, and I loved the way the suits fit. I had to take in the jackets a little, but I loved how fricken comfortable and versatile to mix and match. I am so excited to see they have skirts that match perfectly for the white, charcoal, and black suits I already got from them. (The burgundy wasn’t available in my size.)One thing about their suits, though. If you’re between sizes, order a size up because the sleeves are longer and you can have it brought in by a tailor. Men’s Wearhouse should be able to do it. ?You can also get a dress shirt with a fold over cuff if you already purchased it and you feel the sleeves are too short.I bought these skirts on sale for like $10 each. I got one in every color. They are a staple in my wardrobe. Nice enough for work, but also super comfy. I'd buy more colors if they made them.I loved this skirt for the thickness of the fabric and the way it did not cling or show every bulge.Very Nice fit and very professional look. The material is very nice not thin at all. I do recommend that you turn these skirts inside out to steam iron or cover with a damp cloth or towel or you will get a very ugly sheen. If you have a sheen on any skirt or slacks, just wipe with a damp cloth and turn it inside out, or outside in, and iron. That's what worked for me, but If it doesn't work for you, try running it through the rinse cycle. I did not put mine in the dryer, so I don't know if that's safe. I'm 5' 1", 112 pounds, 31 waist fits snug but not uncomfortable, 36 hip and they fit is perfect for me, not to tight or to loose, and the material does have a little stretch to it. I purchased 3 skirts, size small, navy, maroon and gray. The navy and maroon fit mid knee and the gray measured an inch shorter. The zippers on the navy and maroon takes a little extra effort to zip past the seam of the waist, but so far, I love these skirts. The material is very nice, fits nicely but I should’ve gotten a size smaller. I will order a size smaller that will give me three of these to wear. I am very happy with the skirts. The fit and fabric are similar to leggings; that's fine for skinny girls, but not for us larger girls with lumps and bumps that we want to hide.Belle qualité de tissus
