Have not worn it yet, but can't wait to wear it, but the material felt like great quality and I can see having this for a long time.I like how this skirt looks and feels. Doesn't ride up or squish me. On the other hand, it's thin material so wear nude underwear.Okay.So I bought two of these. One in navy blue and the other in like an olive green. I like that they’ve got an under layer to help with how it looks and smoothing some things out.I bought the blue one first and ordered the green because the blue one was perfect. However, the material of the two skirts is not the same which was very disappointing. The material on the blue skirt is a smooth, semi-gloss material (think workout clothes almost). The green one that I ordered was basically a cotton skirt sewn the same way. I was hoping the green would still be the same material but I guess not.As far as fit, it fits wonderfully. It’s about mid calf length and the ruffles in the skirt add a nice touch to how it looks. I wouldn’t say I’m a very bottom heavy girl but it does accentuate my curves well even though I’m not especially curvy.I’m 5”4 160lbs and I got both skirts in medium. I have Polynesian calves so I am a little thicker in the legs even if I’m not a very curvy girl.I would definitely recommend the blue. The green not as much. I’ve tried a couple of different casual pencil skirts from amazon and this was my favorite one. The length was modest, which is what I was going for and I t’s easy to put on. I would say I’m a fairly religious woman so I wanted a skirt that was good for hot weather but also modest. A lot of pencil skirts end at the knee which was too short for my comfort.It can be knee length maybe if you wear it at above bellybutton level. I wear it at the hips.If you were looking for something on the shorter length this won’t be for you.But personally this skirt was great for casual days keeping cool and modest.I ordered the black lace mid calf ... I'm 5"5 - length was a lil lower than mid calf. I'm sz 14 in Jeans... I ordered both 2xl & 3xl ... The 2 xl fit but, snug around my thighs when I sat. So keeping the 3xl... feels loose comfy but doesn't not look big or frumpy.I really like this skirt. It is feminine and flattering and hides tummy flaws. The waistband is comfortable and with my long torso, I can adjust the length up or down to accommmodate the type of blouse that I wear with the skirt. I am tall and the skirt falls to a point just below my knees that makes my legs look great. I dress this skirt up to attend concerts and fancy parties and always get compliments. Highly recommended.I was skeptical buying the skirt without trying it on, especially because my event was around the corner. However, it exceeded all my expectations. It is flattering, and has good stretch. I bought another one in a different color.The pic did not match the actual design of the skirt. The sides gather/rise. It's not a straight skirt. Plenty of stretch. Very flattering.Love love love it!
