There's a few things that I noticed about this: "Marycrafts Women's Work Office Business Pencil Skirt."I ordered two of the: "Marycrafts Women's Work Office Business Pencil Skirt." One Medium and 1 Large; as I wasn't sure which would actually fit/look better. I don't like my clothes to be clingy, but instead.. modest & respectable. {It seems that so much of women's clothing today is designed to exhibit, many things that should remain private. In fact it seems that the clothing industry has tried to fool many women into thinking that as a woman, we "need" to be on display... that our "value, our worth" are based only on if we are "displaying" ourselves in the MOST sexual way possible.. I can't speak for anyone else, but I feel that "my worth, my value" stem from my beliefs, my standards... showing that I have dignity and self-respect... that I don't feel the "need" to be "on display". Now don't get me wrong, I don't think that I should wear baggy/oversized clothing either... just somewhere in between... but that's just me.}}{The suggested size for me was a medium...although 5'3" 144lbs... the medium was definitely a tighter fit.}So I wanted to skip the possible (beforehand) back and forth exchange, as I needed another new skirt last minute. So as I said, I ordered a Medium and a Large. The "Large" was the most respectably fitting, of the two... so I went with that. I'll be sending the medium back, as it was much too clingy for me. It put me too much "on display," in a negative, undignified way... which as I said I personally don't care for, myself. As a result, I felt very comfortable... didn't have that feeling of: "I can't wait to get this tight thing off" feeling. And I didn't feel that I had to keep pulling it up, (a.k.a. it wasn't too big/loose either)... it was a nice and respectable fit, that I did receive many compliments on.I did knock one star off, because of the fact that the title/description of the skirt used words like: "office & business"... which led me to believe that the fabric would have a slightly "richer" feel to it...which it didn't exactly have. But it also didn't feel like SUPER cheap fabric either; it's just that it's definitely NOT a fabric that I'd associate with the words: "office or business", etc, either. It is a "thicker jersey/knit fabric." I imagine with as often as I wear skirts... (3-4 days out of 7), I probably shouldn't wear/wash it too often, as the fabric might eventually begin to pil/wear out.And between the "charcoal" color that I picked and that the fabric is thicker, I wouldn't say that this fabric would be easy to "see through," by any means; but for a slightly more sophistication (a feeling of elegance), I would suggest wearing a nice slip under it.It's an ok skirt, (for me/my needs) REALLY wish that it was a nicer "silkier" fabric... but unfortunately it isn't. All in all, I would have to say that this skirt is more of a casual work skirt...and nothing more/less than that. Enjoy!
