Koh-i-Noor pencils, made in the Czech Republic(I think) are quality products. This pencil not only looks good, but has a nice feel in the hand and on paper.I was given one several years ago as little token of the day from the gift shop of one the National Art Galleries of Scotland, in Edinburgh, where I had spent a pleasant day with a friend. I had been admiring it and was pleased to be handed one that evening.I'm an adult, but I have fun using it for creative things. If you like unusual, nicely-made art and/or stationery supplies, buy one of these - you'll enjoy it. Fun for kids too, of course. The "tropical" is my favourite one as I think the softer colours blend better than some of the other variations and create more, subtle intermediate hues.
