It does run a little big. I purchased a medium. And I think if I size down to a small it would be a good fit. But overall, it’s not bad. A little roomy is not going to hurt and as long it’s not falling off me. But In the future I’ll def get a small. It’s really cute and comfortable. Fabric is soft and light.Nice skirt, the fabric is soft and stretchy. Highly recommend. I’m 5.2” and around 120lbs. The medium size is a little loose on me which I actually prefer. The skirt falls around my ankles but I don’t mind and can hem it if I want it shorter.Surprisingly cute and flattering. Looks better in person, very versatile.Loved the fit and comfort.This skirt is great for travel. It's easy to roll and pack, and doesn't take up much room.It's a straight skirt, with no slits at the hem. I didn't realize I took such big steps until I tried this on.The fabric has a sheen to it, so it can be dressy with heels, or it can be casual if worn with tights and boots, or bare legs and sandals. The downward stripes are slimming, but the clinginess of the fabric will show your shape. Smoothing undergarments may be called for.The fabric is 91% viscose and 9% elastane. The tag recommends machine washing on cold, and tumble drying on low.The waist is fabric-covered, wide, elastic and is very comfortable.Thank you so much for taking the time to read my review. Sizing is true, though with the stretch factor you could possibly go down a size if you are in-between sizes. The fabric is stretchy and comfortable to wear, not to mention this skirt in black pairs with pretty much every kind of top you can imagine from a crisp Oxford shirt to a sequined tank top. The ribbing adds some interesting texture and keeps the skirt from being boring. There is some clinging to curves for this skirt, and in the lighter colors you might want to wear a slip to avoid any lines from underwear or a tucked in shirt. Though you might see VPL, the material at least isn't see-through. There isn't a small walking slit, which I find a little odd. The fabric may be stretchy, but the stitching of the hem can be damaged if the hem is pulled too tight while walking or running or going up stairs. No pockets either, though that I understand since the skirt hugs curves and pockets would be very visible. I like that the fabric isn't heavy and allows air through as it makes this skirt great for summer. Be careful about snags as this kind of fabric tends to visibly bunch up with even little snags. Even so, this is a good, flexible, budget conscious base piece for your closet.Long skirt, a bit see through, but not much and material I ordered a Medium but I probably could have gotten a small for a slicker fit. I use the skirt as a dress to lounge around the house.This is a 5 star skirt if it had fit me when I got it. The ribbing helps hide body size, and the material is soft and flowing. No problem with static cling, which I thought I might have.However, the waist was about 2 inches too big. I had to pick apart the seams on the waistband, cut the elastic, sew the ends together, and then restitch the waistline. It was not easy, and I have removed 2 stars because of this inconvenience.
