Got this set for my daughter and it is better than the ones I can buy in big office supply chain storesCasing seemed brittle but daughter dropped school books on and didn't bother itThis is a great kit for kids math classes. It keeps everything organized and fits great in their backpacksexelenteThis clear case kit contains the basics kids need for their middle school/ high school math classes. The compass, rulers, protractor, mechanical pencil, sharpener, etc. tucks nicely and neatly into the case. They can easily throw it into a book bag or a trapper keeper and not have your pieces lost or scattered. The kit is fairly flat and not bulky. It comes in a sealed clear plastic bag. My one negative comment is that all the print on the packaging is in Chinese, nothing in English. At least the rulers / protractor are in inches and centimeters and in English. As I tell my students when they write papers, remember your audience. Same thing can be said about imported goods. At least have the wrapper bilingual. One important matter: the measurements on everything in this kit are all metric, no inches just centimeters. That's great for my purposes, but I thought I should mention it in case you need inch measurements on whatever project you're using this for. This is a nice little kit for the price, and I love it when everything fits in a small convenient box because I tend to lose track of the small bits, especially when they're made from clear plastic! I'm using it for making miniatures, so the size is perfect & it's got a lot of angles & curves so I don't have to try doing those freehand (it never goes well). I love how chunky they're making mechanical pencils these days too, they're so much sturdier & easy to use! Especially this one with a nice comfort grip. Comes also with a large square eraser (for big mistakes?) but I really like the eraser at the end of the pencil too! Unlike a manual #2 pencil, it never leaves eraser marks on the page.My one complaint is that there's no way to tighten the compass, it's the 2nd one I've bought that doesn't tighten at all & now I'm wondering if that's just how they're made now? I guess I have to learn not to press so hard because I keep changing the angle; I miss being able to tighten it. I like that there's a little mechanical pencil built right into it though, that's a big design upgrade from the old compasses when I was in school (even though they tightened).Son is taking geometry this year, so I got this for him. I know, he probably won't need it much, because kids don't have to draw in geometry classes very often anymore. But, he'll have it when he needs it. The kit has a solid selection of the basics for geometry class, in a nice small case. So they stay together, don't get lost, don't take up a lot of space, and don't POKE things through a vinyl bag (like mine did, back in the day). This set is a winner.I ordered this for my son.It is well made and the case is pretty sturdy. It goes between the big books and it’s still going strong. It has almost all the supplies that he needs for math.Lightweight.Very useful.Recommended.The product itself is of good quality and I like how everything has a proper place to be put in the sleek box. The problem is when my son wanted to take out a scale or the mechanical pencil, it is pretty tight in there and he actually ended up snapping a couple of the plastic pieces that are suppose to hold the parts in place. Also to put them back is not easy for a child and needs precision. You have to be really careful with that. It's like toy. Not a good quality and expensiveIt's worth the price, considering different tools in a pakage to use for different geometry. It’s a good math set, not the best but good.Oui mais pour les ecoliers seulement
